Subject: Request for Proposal (RFP No. 23/MOT/2026) – Supply and Delivery of 1 x 145kV Current Transformer to Maputo Substation – Mozambique.
1. Background:
The Mozambique Transmission Company – MOTRACO – is a limited liability company incorporated in Republic of Mozambique in 1998. The companies are a joint venture of Electricidade de Moçambique (EDM), Eskom holding (Eskom) and Eswatini Electricity Company (EEC). MOTRACO was created as a vehicle for co-operation with the primary objective of building, owning, operating, maintaining the Transmission system, and supplying electricity to the Mozal aluminium smelter in Mozambique and wheeling power to EEC and EDM.

2. Description and Scope of work:
MOTRACO intends to make acquisition of 1 x 145kV high-voltage Current Transformers for Maputo Substation. The supplier is requested to supply and delivery the 1 x CT, as per below specification and attached drawings:

The proposal must be detailed and present the following:
- Company Profile and experience.
- Technical datasheets and type test reports.
- Drawings.
- Delivery time.
- Financial Proposal (Including Shipping and delivery at Maputo Substation).
- Other support documents and other applicable cost.
