Adérito Sousa has the privilege to participate in a Boardroom session under the invitation by the African Development Bank entitled "Power Security and Energy Transition: The critical roles of Utilities, Power Pools, Governments and Development Finance Institutions". Adérito shared his experience as an independent regional transmission company, member of the SAPP, and highlighted among others the collaborative model offered by MOTRACO and its three equal equity partners – EDM from Mozambique, ECE from Eswatini, and Eskom from South Africa. He provided an insightful testimony of the route and challenges faced by MOTRACO since its inception in 1998. The panel was moderated by Batchi Baldeh, Director – Power Systems Development Department of AfDB.
